Auto Renewal's

CE Zoom automatically renews your license and CE reporting periods within the platform—so your tracking stays up to date without any manual work.

These auto-renewals apply to your CE tracking periods only and do not renew your actual license with your regulatory board. Renewal timelines are based on commonly established cycles. If your dates don’t match your actual renewal period, you can easily update them at any time.

Why do I have the 1995 renewal date?

If you're seeing an audit or license period listed as 3/2/1995 to 3/3/1995, it's likely because your license renewal dates were never entered in the legacy system. During the migration to the new platform, placeholder dates were used when no valid license or CE renewal information was available.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between a License Period and a CE Renewal Period?
  • A License Period is the official "Active" term (often in years) that the license has been issued to an individual by a regulatory body. Within CE Zoom, the “issue date” is not the initial date when your license was first granted, but rather the first day of your most recent official license period. For example, if you were initially licensed in 1993 and your license must be renewed every two years, the issue date should not display 1993—it should be set to display the first day of your current license renewal cycle.
  • A CE Renewal Period is the window of time (often in years) in which you must complete the CE Hours or courses that your regulatory body requires.
  • In most states, these two periods fall on the same dates and cannot be edited to operate independent of each other.  For a hand full of states, these periods are offset and have different dates. In that case, CE Zoom allows you to edit and manage them independently, as needed.
When should I use “Edit License” vs. “Renew License”?
  • Use Edit License only for quick corrections, such as fixing an error, updating dates for an extension, or adjusting an existing entry.
  • Use Renew License when you’ve officially renewed your license with your regulatory body. This creates a new renewal period while preserving your previous renewal period history.
Can I edit or delete renewal periods once they’re added?

Yes. Within your account, from Manage Licenses you can edit or delete CE renewal and License periods.

Why Does it say I Have an "Unmatched/Undefined" License?

If you had a professional account on our Legacy CE Zoom platform, some licenses or permits may appear on the new platform as "unmatched" or "undefined" as a result of our migration. The new platform consolidated and improved user experiences. Use the link below on how to mange those licenses.

Why Didn't All my Licenses Transfer from the Legacy CE Zoom Platform to the new CE Zoom platform ?

We diligently took every measure to ensure the data migration from the legacy CE Zoom platform to Version 2 was as complete and accurate as possible. However, we understand that in rare cases, some licenses may not have transferred.

If you notice a missing license, don’t worry — it can still be added, and all associated CE records can be applied to your account.

We’re here to help make sure your account is fully up to date.

Please see the links below on how to update your licenses

Can I see my past renewal periods?

Yes. The View All Licenses and CE Reporting Periods screen displays all renewal periods you’ve added. CE credits earned within each period are displayed so they correspond the requirements for the license selected.

What about renewal periods before July 1, 2025?

CE Zoom will not build new trackers for periods before July 1, 2025. If you choose to enter older renewal periods, your tracker may not fully reflect those requirements. You can still access historical records in Legacy CE Zoom if you previously tracked them there.

Why is my license/audit period 3/2/1995 to 3/3/1995?

If you're seeing an audit or license period listed as 3/2/1995 to 3/3/1995, it's likely because your license renewal dates were never entered in the legacy system. During the migration to the new platform, placeholder dates were used when no valid license or CE renewal information was available.
